In the spirit of summer vacation--even though ours came and went so quickly *silent cry* I've been thinking about how I can make my next vacation better than the last. I came across this blog on "How to Save Money on Summer Travel." It has some really good tips! One tip is to reach out to someone who lives in the area you plan to visit. I must say that changes the dynamic of your experience completely! Being from Puerto Rico a lot of people reach out to me for advice on what to do while they're here.
